TEAM AND ROLE OVERVIEW

The Agri-Sales and Marketing Executive are being recruited, in a full-time position, to be a part of the aQysta Nepal team.
-
The Agri-Sales and Marketing Executive will work to expand aQysta’s Grown Farm Incubator in Nepal, onboarding more market partners and partner organizations for sales of crops/harvest of farmers aQysta works with.

As such, the (Agri) Sales and Marketing Executive will be at the heart of aQysta’s mission of empowering smallholder farmers.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop new and premium sales channels for the produce/harvests of the Grown Farm Incubator.

On-board market partners/actors are willing to buy harvest from farm incubator.

Support in the creation of suitable marketing and promotional material to generate new relevant leads and interested buyers.

Provide support for the GROWN farm incubator expansion plan by :
-Establish partnerships with government and non-government organizations working with smallholder farmers.
-Analyze and provide suggestions to improve the Grown Farm Incubator business model.
-Develop a strategy to market the concept of the Grown Farm Incubator to relevant stakeholders.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS
-
Minimum of 2 years working experience in the marketing and sales of agriculture crops/harvests/commodities by working closely with market actors in the sales of agri-products from farmers/farmers groups/ cooperatives.

Having practical experience in agriculture value chain development is required.

Having a Master’s degree in marketing or business studies. Having an academic background in agriculture will be considered a plus. BBS/ BBA with strong work experience may also qualify.

Excellent communication skills to communicate with traditional, conventional, non-conventional, and institutional buyers of harvests/crops.

Strong presentation skills (verbal, interactive with preparing slides, etc.).

Commendable negotiation skills.

Able to plan work and organize the team and oneself.

Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and proactive in work approach.

Candidates possessing a valid driving license will be preferred.
