TEAM AND ROLE OVERVIEW

  • The Mechanical Engineer is being recruited, in a full-time position, to be a part of aQysta Nepal’s team.

  • The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with aQysta’s Product Designers and other technical colleagues to carry out the design, draft, and development of company products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Aid in design and carry out mechanical calculations of company products.

  • Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software (eg. Solidworks) to design prototypes.

  • Fabricating prototypes for testing.

  • Delivering product specifications and procedures to the manufacturing team for production purposes.

  • Analyzing existing products to identify areas for improvement and updating current documentation.

  • Developing quality control criteria and safety guidelines and ensuring that all team members adhere to them.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

  • At least 2 years of experience (preferably in turbines/pumps and product development)

  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols.

  • Experience with 3D modeling software(eq Solidworks) and report writing programs.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent math, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
